Chaitanya Sambrani receives award from Bandung Institute of Technology

Associate Professor Chaitanya Sambrani has been awarded with a prestigious award from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

The Ganesa Widya Jasa Utama Award recognises excellence and service in the advancement of knowledge, and recognises his association with ITB’s Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain (Faculty of Visual Art and Design) since 2003.

The awards ceremony will be held on 4 July 2022 at the West Hall, ITB.

Chaitanya Sambrani is an art historian and curator with special interests in modern and contemporary art in Asia. He has a first class MA (Fine) in Art Criticism from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda, and a Ph.D. in Art History and Curatorship from the Australian National University.
